Huntseat Equestrian Team
The team members have been training here since 1999. We
started with a small non-competitive team, and have now become a
force to be reckoned with.
The intercollegiate
competitions are special in the fact that you aren't required to own
your own horse, and you need not give up your riding while you are
attending college. In fact, you may not use your own horse if
you have one at intercollegiate competitions. The host school
must provide all the horses for everyone. You then draw the
horse you will ride just before you compete so that everyone is on
an unfamiliar horse, and has a fair chance.
